Millie Jackson founded the Gentle Warrior’s Kitchen as a way to weave her experience and training together to serve others. As a seasoned educator, Millie understands the different ways that people learn and integrate information into their lives. She is a compassionate listener who is attentive to the nuances in her clients responses to help them uncover their truth.
Through her own journey to discover a healthier way to live, she pursued an M.A. in Health Education from the University of Alabama and became a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). As a result of her education, she adapted a plant based diet and sought continuing education focused on plant based nutrition and cooking. She has let go of the crazy restrictive diet culture and relies more on intuition in her eating and self-care practices. As a long-time yoga practitioner, she pursued yoga teacher training in 2015. Her passion is restorative yoga practice, which she teaches and practices. She is a knowledgeable writing teacher and workshop leader who offers a blend of modalities to help clients achieve their goals.
Millie has worked in education for over 30 years.
